We also confirm the presence of the DNA on this rough diamond in your personal guarantee certificate.A specialized laboratory can use appropriate analytical methods to check whether DNA is detectable in the piece of jewelry. Of course, you are free to have such a test performed after receiving your jewelry.

Yes. Our patented stabilization method keeps the DNA stable inside the jewelry at room temperature. As a result, the DNA remains stable for an indefinite period. In practical terms, it is entirely realistic for the DNA to remain stable and suitable for analysis for 20 years or more. This naturally requires the jewelry to be handled correctly—for example, it must not be opened or subjected to anything else that could damage the DNA sample.Within the limits permitted by law, potential analyses include kinship and parentage testing, ancestry analysis, and the examination of selected genetic traits or predispositions. For animals, possible applications include parentage verification as well as breed or origin analysis.The specific type of analysis that may be carried out in the future will depend on the applicable legal requirements and the laboratory technology available at that time.

Our jewelry is designed so that it can be opened or unscrewed. However, this feature is intended solely to allow the DNA to be removed for a future analysis without damaging the jewelry.Under no circumstances should you open the jewelry yourself after purchasing it! Even after a bereavement, you can have our jewelry made as a personal keepsake using the DNA of a deceased person or animal.The ordering process is essentially the same as for a living person or animal. A buccal mucosa sample is taken using the cotton swab we provide. In the case of a deceased person, the sample can be taken by you or the responsible funeral home after prior arrangement. For a deceased animal, you can also contact a veterinary practice or pet funeral home.
