Right of Withdrawal

As a general rule, consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online in accordance with Sections 355(1) and 312g(1) of the German Civil Code (BGB).

Under Section 312g(2) No. 1 BGB, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and whose production is determined by an individual choice or decision made by the consumer, or that are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal requirements.

Each piece of DNA jewelry is individually made to order and permanently incorporates the submitted biological sample material on the rough diamond. This creates a clearly personalized, one-of-a-kind piece associated with the respective person or animal.

The complete and verifiably residue-free removal of the submitted sample material cannot be guaranteed. The jewelry therefore cannot be reused or resold to another customer without the risk of the samples being mixed or incorrectly attributed. Such mixing could, in particular, affect a subsequent analysis and the clear identification of the DNA contained within the jewelry.

For this reason, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for our individually made DNA jewelry. Your statutory rights in the event of defects remain unaffected.
